About the event
Everyone has great potential; sometimes, we just need guidance to unlock it. Skiing days in camp direct the spotlight to the key points, which will show you the way to follow during the season.
You will get the takeaways to work with during the season.
Who is it for?
Regarding skiing skills, this camp is for you if you are confident on red slopes with parallel turns and can also ski black slopes. According to experience, the most important factors for a homogeneous group are determination, an open mindset, and persistence. Skiing skills are often incidental, as we must work out many fundamental movements to be precise.
In summary, this camp is for you:
You are open to changing your mindset regarding skiing.
You are persistent in your hard work to improve your skiing to a higher level.
You want to understand the context of your movements in skiing and everyday life.
If you accept that, besides dynamic high-level skiing, everyone needs to develop slow, subtle, fundamental movements in order to be fast and offensive.
If you want to work with full focus.
What is included?
4 days, with daily 3-hour coaching sessions. (Nobody can focus more than 2-3 hours, even elite racers don't train more than 1-2 hours. It is not a good idea to practice lower-quality or incorrect movements without paying attention. We start early, when the slopes are empty. After lunch, participants can ski freely for as long as they want. )
Personalized feedback.
Video analysis on request.
Small groups (4-6 people).
Evening reunion: analysis, follow-up, get-together, dryland workout ideas.
Post-camp follow-up (online consultation, video analysis, coaching) with premium membership.
Others:
If you are unsure about your skiing level, you can send a video in advance.
You can use your favorite equipment. We suggest shorter-radius skis, as they are more versatile on open public slopes than longer ones. We recommend servicing the skis before the camp.
Feel free to ask any questions.
Kaprun is approximately 15 minutes from the bottom station of the lifts. Public transportation is well-organized and comfortable, but anyone can also travel by car.
Usually, lifts open earlier than the official operating hours, so it's a good idea to arrive at the lift station around 8:00 AM.
It takes a net of 20 minutes to get to the Alpincenter, where there is a comfortable area to leave unnecessary bags and change clothes and shoes.
Course fee: 420€ (inc. coaching and evening program)
