POSSIBLE FAILURES:

PROGRESS:

Hip mobility
Ankle mobility
Posterior kinetic chain mobility

OBJECTIVE:

Box/Chair

EQUIPMENT:

Stand for approx. hip wide stance, feet are parallel
Keep your knees in line with your toes
Heels should remain in contact with the floor

1. Begin by squatting down like a box squat. Lower your pelvis until you can stay balanced.
You can help balance it with your hands on the chair.
At the lowest point, find your position with small movements.
2. Hold your ankle fixed while standing up, and don't let your shin move back. Drive your pelvis over your toes.

Use the chair only for balance rather than as help for stand-up.
